You might not hear it, but she just might roar.

If you are a doula I challenge you to try and listen to Katy Perry's latest hit, Roar, and NOT think about women giving birth!  Women in labor have such incredible strength.  One minute they are a fighter the next a dancer.  They are so powerful and when given the chance they really do roar.  It might not be an audible roar, but we know what this means.  The roar of strength and beauty combined.  That roar of giving new life and transforming.
