A little something about you: My background is as an Iyengar yoga instructor. I began attending births for my yoga students and acquaintances in 2009. My philosophy as a doula is to be very open-minded to get to know my clients as individuals, and to do my best to support their wishes and desires during pregnancy, labor and beyond. I am a proud member of the Doulas Association of Southern California (DASC) and was deeply honored to be named their Birth Doula of the Year for 2012. I am a certified birth doula and childbirth educator and currently completing my postpartum doula certification. In 2013, I plan to take additional training to become a lactation educator.
